Virgin Island

sunny -30 °C

For this year's summer I travelled to Panglao Island of Bohol to visit the so called Virgin Island. It got its name because only few people visit the place and its natural beauty is not yet over explored. The locals also call it " the hidden Oasis". This long stretch of sand bar is worth the scorching heat of the sun. Docking is difficult though because of the abundant supply of sea weed which may cause damage to the boat's propeller. Nevertheless this shall not bar you from visiting this place. Although there are other magnificent sand bar in the Philippines, this one is worth the try especially that it is located in Panglao Island which is also a tourist spot in Bohol. Virgin Island is also just near the Balicasag Island where you can snorkel and see the diverse marine animals.
